Visualising the eastern periphery of Europe

As part of the process of analysing the visible/invisible aspects of borders, a professional photographer will be accompanying researchers to fieldwork sites across the eastern periphery of Europe. This will generate an additional visual understanding of the same issues being analysed differently by other members of the team. Access to some of the best of those photographs will be made available here, and participants will also be able to search the visual archive.

The idea is to bring together experts on the north-eastern periphery with experts on the south-eastern periphery, in order to develop a better understanding of the similarities and differences across the eastern periphery region.
